Well into the summer now, and again very hot, allthough the recession here is quite bad seeing many Brits returning to the UK, it has'nt afected us too badly we have taken many new clients this year, had our quite periods but also some very busy times.
We are full for the Christmas week and allready turning people away and have only a few spaces left for the New Year.
All our own animals are fine, Toby the Lab has had his second implant for his prostate problem and although very lethargic seems to be doing well for his age, Susie the new kitten is due very soon for her op (no more kittens) Lucy went absent for five days and nights, we think in protest at the arrival of Susie but now seems to except her, Lucky her brother gets bigger and has turned into a very nice cat, Sabe is fine also Biddy the Scotty and Pepe the Beagle, well what can I say, Pepe is Pepe for anyone who owns a Beagle will know.
We have completed some work on the kennels, by renewing the front making it more secure with stronger mesh, it was starting to look a bit tatty, once the weather cools down we will be totally covering kennel fives compound and relaying the floor.
25th August 2009.
What a busy month this has been, coming to the end of our fith year and apart from christmas's, our busiest month ever, many new Spanish clients and quite a few new English ones.
The cattery has rearly taken off this year as well.
17th September 2009.
Well, thats it, summer is over, today we have had our first rain and thunder storm since I can't remember when, the temperature has finnaly droped and this morning was a lovely sunny september morning, best time of the year, I wonder what winter will bring.
We have collected plenty of logs for the wood burner, so hopefully we should'nt have to buy any this year.
Were still full up with dogs, we have our first Old English Sheep Dogs, Chester and Ari (Spanish) and four Westies also Spanish, came yesterday.
We have two long term dogs in, Cane and Able, two Alsation crosses, there in untill January since July, waiting for their Pets Passports, then returning to the UK.
